MG Electrical was established in 1994 by Mel Garner after leaving British Telecom whom he had worked for since leaving school.

Mel's son Matt joined the business in 2008 to assist the ever-growing demand for electrical services in the area.
Matt and Mel continued to grow MG Electrical until Mel's retirement in 2019, although he still plays an important role within the business.
​
MG Electrical continues to grow from strength to strength, employing several members of staff to manage the ongoing scheduled workload.
